Ashley had a very busy day today donating books to several groups!!  Below are pictures of Crystal Allen (left), Ashley, and Kim Smith (right) of the Richmond Pediatric Associates, Inc.  Ashley donated approximately 40 children’s books to be used in the waiting room and the examining rooms.  They have requested an additional 100 books so Ashley will make another visit in the future.

Her second visit was to Henrico Doctors Pediatric Wing to donate Children’s Books and Coloring Books.  There Ashley met with Ruth Edens (pictured with Ashley) and Pamela Legette.  Ashley donated approximately 30 children’s books for their Library and 20 coloring books with crayons which will be distributed to future patients. Ashley assisted Ruth in stocking the library shelves and was introduced to other staff in the Post-Partum unit.

Her third visit was to “Reach Out and Read” to meet with Sue Rockwell.  Ashley donated approximately 500 children’s books which will be distributed to Pediatric Offices all over Virginia .  Also, Sue presented Ashley with a Reach Out & Read T-Shirt, Poster, and Coloring Book.  Ashley will be visiting Sue again in the future to make additional book donations.

Her fourth visit was to Chippenham Hospital Pediatric Wing to donate Children’s Books and Coloring Books.  Ashley met with Becky Coviello and donated approximately 100 children’s books for their Library and 25 coloring books with crayons.  Ashley was fortunate enough to meet with some current patients providing them with coloring books, crayons, and sticker books.  Ashley also provided the Pediatric Staff with colorful notepads.  Chippenham Hospital Pediatrics was going through a small remodel and Ashley was pictured admiring their new fish tank.
